Camp Themes & Funshops
Summer 2026
All funshops (except Barnyard) take place on a daily basis. Funshops may not occur on field trip or special event days.
Pre-Camp: June 8-12
Open to all campers!
Join us as we kick off the summer with our first swims of the season, a sweet treat social, and bounce house fun. Funshops rotations and field trips begin in Session I.
SESSION ONE: June 15-26
Back to the Disco
Get ready to boogie down as we head back to the disco! Campers will groove to fun disco beats, learn dazzling dance moves, and build confidence, wrapping up the session with a high-energy performance that brings the dance floor to life.
Mud Fun Factory
Get hands-on with clay! Campers will learn pottery techniques, shape their own creations, and turn clay into unique pieces they’ll be proud to take home.
Makerspace
Step into our makerspace! Campers will experiment with lanyards and fabric, explore textures, colors, and patterns, and create while problem-solving like true makers.
Move and Groove
Get ready to dance! Campers will learn fun moves, build rhythm and coordination, and create exciting routines while gaining confidence and expressing themselves.
Barnyard (Once a week)
Campers will spend time at our Science and Nature Center and learn about our animals while having hands-on interactions with the stars of our school!
SESSION TWO: June 29-July 16
Suit up for Superhero Training Camp! Campers will build strength, sharpen their minds, and master teamwork through action-packed challenges as they train to discover their unique superpowers and become everyday heroes.
Wonder Works
Campers will channel their creativity into hands-on woodwork projects while learning construction and engineering skills along the way.
Amazing Race
Let’s dive into sports, fast-paced games, and team challenges, culminating in an epic Color Wars showdown full of teamwork and friendly competition.
Imagination Station
Campers will bring ideas to life through storytelling, comic strips, puppet shows, and hands-on projects, exploring creativity through art, performance, and play.
Barnyard (Once a week)
Campers will spend time at our Science and Nature Center and learn about our animals while having hands-on interactions with the stars of our school!
Superhero Training Academy
SESSION THREE: July 20-August 7
Let’s Go to the Circus
Step right up to the Circus! Campers will dive into a world of juggling, balancing, and clowning around, create circus-themed food, explore fun science experiments, and design their very own circus carnival, bringing the magic, excitement, and creativity to life!
Discovery Lab
It’s time to become junior scientists through hands-on experiments, outdoor observations, and guided investigations, uncovering the wonders of nature one discovery at a time.
Master Chef
Get ready to explore cooking techniques, experiment with flavors, and create delicious dishes while building kitchen confidence through hands-on challenges. Teams will present their creations to the judges to see who will be the next Master Chef!
Creative Studio
Campers will unleash their imagination through painting, drawing, sculpting, and more, creating without limits!
Barnyard (Once a week)
Campers will visit our Science and Nature Center and learn all about our animals while having hands-on interactions with the stars of our school!
Post Camp: August 10-12
Available only for continuing WHPS students. The camp will send a sign-up on June 26.
